At the heart of our lineage is Mr. Ravindranath Mishra, the head Purohit and Acharya of the 130-year-old Shakti Poojan Kendra at Bihari Durga Mandap, Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, India. With over 45 years of dedicated service, he continues the legacy of his forefathers, Lt. Shri Shiveshwar Mishra and Lt. Shri Bighanath Mishra, revered Purohits and spiritual masters who performed profound Siddhis at sacred sites such as Tarapeet, Chinnamastika, and Kamakhya.
 

Rooted in the worship of Ma Ugratara, our family has been devoted to the Devi Upasana tradition, while also honoring the divine energies of Shiva and Surya, tracing our lineage to the Sun God (Surya) as ShakyaDeep Brahmans. Our heritage reflects a rare confluence of spiritual wisdom, Vedic mastery, and unbroken devotion, making us custodians of one of the most esteemed clans in Vedic Pooja traditions.
